The event is organized by volunteer members of the DCF community, and is sponsored by the Drum Circle Facilitators Guild (DCFG).

The conference's purpose is to further the knowledge base and depth of practice in the DCF field by bringing drum circle facilitators together to exchange ideas and push collective understanding of our craft.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The DCF Conference will feature an array of workshops on a wide range of DCF-related topics. We will also have open periods for unscheduled topics, jump time for in-the-circle practice, and time to simply drum together. Conference sessions are designed for participants who have knowledge and experience with basic DCF principles. Beginning DCFs are welcome, however introductory instruction will not be offered.

First session will be at 4pm on Friday, February 25. Conference ends on Sunday at 5pm.

We will be doing a community outreach program at North Myrtle Beach High School on Friday morning with drum circles for several classes and at the end of the school day Cameron Tummel will be doing a program that all DCF's are welcome to attend and learn from.

Presenters include: Jane Bentley, Arthur Hull, Cameron Tummell, Rufus Glasco, Marcus Santos, John Fitzgerald, Jiri Cmolik, Mary Tolena, and Mary Knish.  Sessions will include everything from best business practices, website management, story telling and much more.

The DCFG is sponsoring this event, bringing in the best in the business to help facilitators grow in their trade.

This conference is for everyone interested in learning more about the business of Drum Circles. You do NOT have to be a member of DCFG to come.
