The DCFG conference is an amazing experience full of great presentations, learning experiences, open sharing, and as always amazing drum circle facilitators. The 17th Annual Drum Circle Facilitators Guild Conference is for anyone and everyone who incorporates rhythm and/or drumming into their work; including settings such as:
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE In the spirit of the conference theme "Rhythm Reimagined" and out of an abundance of caution and respect for the health and safety of our guild members, this year's conference will be a little different. The Drum Circle Facilitator’s Guild (DCFG) Conference will be available virtually! Attendees will have the ability to watch both live and recorded sessions.
The conference will feature a variety of workshops and presentations on a wide range of DCF topics. There will be an array of activities ranging from formal presentations, open sharing, and of course plenty of time to simply drum together. Conference sessions are designed for participants who have working knowledge and experience with basic DCF principles and techniques. Beginning DCFs are of course welcome, however keep in mind that this is not intended as introductory instruction on how to lead drum circles. It is instead a symposium of best practices and new ideas from industry leaders.
